Old China Town, Vancouver, B.C.
November 29, 2015
While in Vancouver Bill and I took about a 3 hour driving tour of the city. We saw a lot, but didn't have a great number of stops to get good photos, so most of the photos I have are literally "drive by" shooting from the window of the van. This is one of those captures. Not the greatest photo in the world, but I really liked the dragons, so I wanted to share with my friends,
The boundaries of the original Chinese areas in the city are well defined by the change in the color and structures of the street lamps. They become red, and are mostly topped with dragons such as these.
