Some time ago, I was contacted by a University asking to use some of my photos in a textbook for children with learning disabilities. The book was to be filled with everyday photos of things to help the children learn to recognize the aspects in the world around them. They included plants, flowers, trees, birds, insects, and a lot of other easily recognizable images. They chose three of my photos to use, and I was thrilled. In each they removed the background and isolated the subject. The University then sent the isolated subject photos back to me for approval. This is one of my photos that they chose.
I wish I had the skills to do this type of work in Photoshop, but I don't....yet. I'm still hanging on to the dream of taking PS classes when I retire.
