The days that we spent driving the trails in Colorado were just an awesome treat! We saw many abandoned buildings, mines and whole towns that were falling down. But the most interesting thing about all of them was to study the structures and the placement within th surroundings and imagine what it must have been like when it was inhabited.
This is one of those places. I believe that this was a private home at one time. Obviously it has seen it's better days, but I'm glad to have had the chance to explore around it. The muddy little stream would have flowed really close to the structure in it's heyday.
This shot was a bit difficult because of the lighting. Shade on the left and bright sunlight on the right. But, I rather liked the way it turned out.
As always, thank you for your comments and critiques.
Have a satisfactory Saturday my friends!
