More Utah Backroads
September 29, 2014
I read about a ghost town in Utah known as Grafton. We re-routed our trip so that we could go visit the old town. This photo was taken on our way to Grafton. It was shot through the dirty windshield of the rented Yukon, so there's a few spots.
For those of you that haven't experienced the breaktaking beauty of Utah, I highly recommend a trip there. This is the 3rd year that we've done a backroads trip in Utah. The first was in 2012, where we saw northern Utah on our way to Yellowstone National Park. In 2013 we explored Utah's Canyonlands and Arches National Parks on our way to western Colorado. This year, we saw pretty much the heartland of Utah on our way to Northern Arizona and beyond.
I hope you don't mind so many landscape photos, but we are just blown away by the beauty of this state.
"Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean." ~ John Muir
Have a glorious day today my friends!
