Not the Grand Canyon, but A Smaller Version
November 6, 2014
Along the highway that we were driving and was a part of my POTD yesterday, we saw a "scenic turnout" which turned into a parking spot, and a trail. Not really knowing what to expect, we walked down the trail and were pleasantly surprised to see this rugged canyon. There was a small, muddy river at the bottom that was hard to see from some of the view points, but visible in a few spots.
Nature just amazes me! The years that it took her river to create this rugged, yet handsome landscape must number in untold millions. Isn't our world amazing?
"Nature is so powerful, so strong. Capturing its essence is not easy - your work becomes a dance with light and the weather. It takes you to a place within yourself." ~ Annie Leibovitz
Have an awesome day!
