Nevada in the Deep Freeze!
March 21, 2013
This was taken while we were having our day off in Nevada. We are still in the high desert, but now north of the city of Reno near Sun Valley. The scene did look like it's namesake. What drew my attention of course was the unusual cloud over the mountains. I like the way it hung so low to the ground and then above it the bright blue sky. Plus the dusting of light snow on the desert really gives texture to to scrub brush on the ground.
Please check this out in the larger sizes, I think you will enjoy it very much as I did.
