"Fishing is the chance to wash one's soul with pure air. It brings meekness and inspiration, reduces our egoism, soothes our troubles and shames our wickedness. It is discipline in the equality of men--for all men are equal before fish." ~ Herber Hoover
I absolutely agree with this quote. There is something so totally relaxing, refreshing and inspirational about fishing. It clears the mind, you're outside in the wonderful nature that God has given us, and it soothes any worries you may have in your mind. I wish I had the opportunity to do it more, but rest assured I do it as much as is possible.
This is an SOOC shot of two men standing in one of the streams inside Yellowstone National Park enjoying one of mine (and I'm sure their) favorite hobby. Yellowstone is just an amazing place, lots of wonderful country to explore and enjoy. Bill and I did some fly fishing while we were there, and it was just awesome.
There was a bit of haze in the air the whole time that we were in the Yellowstone area from the fires that were around the vicinity. It was difficult at times to get clear shots of the mountains and the beautiful scenery. But, that didn't stop me from taking hundreds and hundreds of photos. Thank you for allowing me to share some of them here on Smug with you.
Thank you all for your kind comments and suggestions on my kayaking shot on the Snake River from yesterday. They were all very much appreciated, and enjoyed. My comments of late have been a bit sporadic, but I do try to catch up and enjoy your wonderful work as often as I can.
Have a fine day today my friends.
