Old Mining Town in Colorad
October 29, 2013
More info on yesterday's shot: Bill and I were driving from Ouray to Denver, Colorado. We explored lots of tiny sand covered roads. Yesterday's photo was of a river we found that was not on our GPS. The banks were concrete and it ran for about 20 miles. We followed it, and were out in the middle of nowhere Colorado. Lovely scenes, it was running so fast that we couldn't get to the headwaters.. Thanks for your comments and questions.
Today's shot is another abandonded mine seen on one of our trail rides in Colorado. Part of the mine must still be somewhat active as we saw trucks around the site and the roads looked recently used. But this one we didn't go explore - so this is a shot from the road.
I've got two straight weeks of business travel coming up. So I'm going to have to take a break from processing photos and posting on SM for a couple of weeks..
I'll do my best to keep up with the Alpahabet Challenge on Sunday's though. Take care, and as I can I will try to check in an comment. I know this talented group of photographers will be posting some awesome work while I'm gone.
Take care, and thanks for all your support.
