These large transmission towers (a.k.a. electricity pylons) have fascinated me since the first time I saw them many years ago. In my vivid imagination, they seem something out of a 1950s B- SciFi movie. Imagine that the aliens come to earth and they make these things come to life and they start wreaking havoc on the electric grid. I hear y’all laughing, and that’s ok. I’m laughing too at the ridiculous vision. Sometimes my mind's eye conjures up weird ideas of what things in the everyday world might be if they were not themselves. I kind of like re-imagining things, even when the new image is out-of-this-world. 😊 LOL
Notice too there some of the large Windmill towers in the distance to the right side of the image. This photo was taken through the windshield as we were headed north on Highway 181 south of Beeville, Texas. I also liked that the road followed the rolling terrain of the nearby land.
