History in a Mural ~ by Linda
February 13, 2023
I was not able to post yesterday due to being away from the computer.
This is one section of a very large mural in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The individual murals are on several large free standing pieces of wood, and they surround a memorial park. I have posted a few of the sections previously, and have a couple more to post in the future. I particularly like this one with the emphasis in the lower section on music. The black bear, the map the service men from different eras and the bright red fence that ran through each of the sections, and the additional red pops of color in each of them.
“I always liked red. It’s a picker-upper.” ~ Nancy Reagan
Thank you for your comments and critiques, I do appreciate them very much!
Have a red letter day!
