Someone Still Loves Her
We found this old bird, and many more at an aircraft repair place near Paris, Texas. They has some really interesting airplanes scattered all around their place. We stopped because we saw this in the field. We walked around looking for someone to talk to, but no one was there. So we spent time just exploring.
According to Bill's research, this is a 1952 Model 404 built by Martin. It was a small passenger airplane that carried about 50 passengers. I know we have some pilots and plane experts in the SM community, and I would love to know more about this plane. I would appreciate it if you would comment. I tried to look up the symbol on the tail to see what airline it last flew for, but couldn't find one that match this one.
It's obviously not in the greatest of shape, but I'm glad to see that it didn't end up as scrap metal.

Thank you for your comments and critiques!
Have a high-flying day full of joy my friends!
