This photo was taken from our balcony of the Princess Pacific cruise ship as we were slowly moving into Ketchikan, Alaska - our first port. I liked the Islands in silhouette, the clouds, the mist rising off the ocean, and layers of the mountains behind the islands.
What a beautiful image this is, Linda! Visually it is fascinating ... and there is a wonderful emotional reaction - to the colour and the starkness of the scene, I love this! I've been wandering through your photos this morning & you have such an amazing & beautiful body of work... you should be very proud of everything you've done here. (to answer your question about our campers - we can't stay in them when it's really cold even though we have a furnace, most things in an RV are plastic & will crack if touched when frozen, and all the water is turned off in the fall so we are limited to an Oct to May season. So nice of you to ask... :))
