This wonderful light fixture is in the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas. It is near the “high roller’s” casino and the Moon Bar. I liked it primarily because it was a Dale Chiluhy fixture. I truly admire his works. It is so elegant and amazing. Chiluhy made this wonderful fixture specifically for the Atlantis Resort and he named it the Seaform Chandelier. It is made up of over 900 sealife forms of jelly fish, anemones, squid, and seaweed in delicate shades and highlighted with silver and gold. It took Chihuly only three weeks to create this masterpiece. Measuring approximately 10’ by 12’ - it is a marvel of glass work.

on February 23, 2023It is hard to believe that it took only three weeks to create this rather different chandelier. And, I wonder how they managed to bring it to the casino and hang it up, without damaging it. Unreal find !!

on February 22, 2023Amazing Chihuly chandelier! It is a rather unusual color for a Chihuly....totally gorgeous! His chandeliers are my favorites of his work. His work appeals to almost everyone. You and Ashley must have such a wonderful relationship. She sounds like such an accomplished young woman. Has she decided on a choice for law school yet?
