This Looks Like Home
August 3, 2019
As we were meandering our way home from San Angelo, Texas in June, we found ourselves in Bronte, Texas. What a neat little town! We stopped at a great café for lunch, then drove around the town and took some photos. I thought this mural was cool and a very nice “tribute” to the city by the Art Class of 2007. Obviously, there’s a lot of pride in the town, and it is whistle clean downtown.

on August 3, 2019It must have been fun to run across this mural in not-Smallville. I Googled Bronte, and found it's only about 1000 population, and although the town was named after the writer Charlotte Bronte, it is pronounced more like Brahnt. But at least it has had Superman overlooking things since 2007!

on August 3, 2019What a neat find. You and Bill really are happy travelers, always just happening upon these treasures. It's a lesson to us all not to be so structured or in such a hurry as we move through life.
