Shooting From the Hip
September 6, 2018
Thank you all for your comments on my "New Growth" photo of the Unfurling Ferns shot yesterday.
In this photo, these kids were having such a good time playing in the ruins of an old cathedral that I didn't want to disturb them or make them uncomfortable by being obvious that I was taking their photo., So I kept my camera low. Some came out fairly straight, but most were like this (or worse). But I decided to post this photo because it kind of evokes the "all out" energy that the kids give to play and the mindlessness of them not caring if we keep things straight or not..
"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood." ~ Fred Rogers
Thank you for your comments and critiques.
Take some time to play today!
