This was just a Hodge podge of items on a table at the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum in Fairbanks, Alaska. What caught my eye was the singular crystal hood ornament. I’ve no idea what car it belonged to, but I loved it.
“Every particular in nature, a leaf, a drop, a crystal, a moment of time is related to the whole, and partakes of the perfection of the whole.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Thank you for your comments and critiques, they always make me smile and are very much appreciated.
The eye is drawn immediately to the crystal figure. Amazing that it survived intact. The Glass Pavilion at the Toledo Museum of Art has several hood ornaments designed by Lalique, if you can believe it, but they aren't as fancy as this one.
