A Green Life ~ by Linda

I think the big beautiful plants with the large leaves are called Elephant Ears, but I’m not sure. I’d love you input on the name. The shorter ground-cover plants look like Begonias to me, but again – I’d love you insights. This lovely green bed was photographed at the Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. The gardens there are truly amazing and so beautiful.

on February 11, 2023The leaves do look very similar to the bananas we are growing, less the red in them. Lovely leaves and find !

on February 10, 2023Gorgeous image of these beautiful banana plants underplanted with the New Guinea impatiens....Donna nailed them! I would love to try growing a banana plant sometime. In the UK, everyone has them in their gardens.

on February 10, 2023Beautiful layers of greens. Super eye to spot this shot.
I'm no expert but the big leaves look like some sort of ornamental banana plant, red Abyssinian maybe, and the ones flowering are New Guinea impatiens.
