Is that a ghost mist around us? I have no idea what caused this effect. I set the camera up on the tripod, hit the delay switch, got in the scene with Bill...........and this is the shot we got. We did several tripod shots, the rest were fine, this one was a little quirky, but fun. LOL. I’ve been reluctant to post this on SM because it’s such a crazy photo -- but here it is.
Honestly, I have no idea what caused this weird effect. I posted this on FB recently, and got some guesses such as a dirty lens (nope), condensation of a cold lens to hot/warm air (maybe - but condensation usually covers the whole lens so no), double exposure (I don't think so, all the others came out OK), Our Guardian Angel (I hope so), A spirit that protects the cabin (I could go with that), or an aura of real chemistry between the two of us.............OK, I'm going with that one. Let me know your thoughts.
In this photo, Bill and I were on vacation several years ago. It was taken on our first night about 200 miles out of SLC. We had booked this remote, like, truly and seriously way out in the boonies remote cabin in North-Eastern Utah. This cabin was about 6 hours' driving time from SLC (Salt Lake City) and it was on a private ranch that was so secluded that we almost didn't find it. We loved our stay there.
Utah is amazing and underrated! We've spent time there 3 different vacations and are planning to go back again soon.
Thank you for your comments and critiques!
Have a mysterious (the good kind) of day today my friends.
