I love doors and windows, and particularly those in older homes and buildings. This was taken at the LakePort Plantation Home that is on the banks of the Mississippi River on the Arkansas side. I really don't know what material the knob is made of, but it is lovely. The old-fashioned keyhole reminds one of simpler times, and I like that through the ages the house has stood, the wood has settled, and the keyhole is slightly askew. I find that to be charming.
