We are finally getting some color in the trees around this part of North Texas. I’m so glad to see them as I love the colors of Fall. Some of our trees’ leaves are still mostly in the green stage, but if you look closely, you can see that there are a few of the leaves that have begun to dress in the lovely gold and red that Red Oaks are so admired for.
“Designers want me to dress like Spring, in billowing things. I don't feel like Spring. I feel like a warm red Autumn.” ~ Marilyn Monroe
Thank you for your comments and critiques.
Have a warm day today wrapped in Autumn colors.
Lovely shot of the leaves. We went from green to dull red quick here :(. I thought we would have better color this year with the rain but no to be.
Got bit by my Maxima :(. fuel pump went out. Just the part is $300 from an auto parts store and has to be ordered. I keep getting codes in my check engine. I had it checked and one is a dealer only the other is fuel pump & pressure. Between the 3 $1650 my car is worth $1100 trade in $1800 seller. sigh. I think I spent $2K in the last 2 years. Time to look for another car as I am gong down a gofer hole here according to my receipts. Going out tonight to look at a couple I found yesterday. Wish me luck
